Setting up Windows XP for PogoZone’s High-Speed Internet using PPPoE (Point to Point Protocol over Ethernet)

NOTE: If you intend to use a router in you home or office network with PogoZone, the following instructions are not necessary. The router, not Windows XP, will need to be configured to use PPPoE. Please refer to your routers owners’ manual or call our support line for instructions on how to configure your router to use PPPoE.

PogoZone highly recommends that you purchase a router to use in conjunction with your high-speed internet connection to add a level of security to your computer as well as allowing you the option of connecting multiple computers, wired our wirelessly, depending on the router purchased.

If you choose not to use a router between your wall connection and your computer, this tutorial will walk you through configuring Windows XP to connect to PogoZone via PPPoE (point to point protocol over Ethernet). If you have any problems please contact PogoZone support at http://www.pogozone.net/support or support@pogozone.net or 360-676-8772.
